The first of the Tomorrow is Now edition, had Pritzker Laureate Shigeru Ban from Japan as our Chief Guest along with Jeremy Smith, director of Irving Smith Architects from New Zealand. The event brought together leading architects from Kerala and around the country, design professionals , architecture students and other design enthusiasts. We had a total audience of 1000+ consisting primarily of architects and design professionals along with students from various design schools and colleges as well as design enthusiasts.Post the talks by Ar. Shigeru Ban and Ar. Jeremy Smith, we hosted an exclusive networking dinner which was by special invitation for approximately 100 guests consisting of architects, design professionals and the Sponsor Brands. The event was also a culmination of the week-long SEED student exhibition- ‘Seedscape 5.0- Together at the same time’ which was curated by Cochin Creative Collective and inaugurated by Lijo Reny Architects. Tomorrow is Now, additionally curated a panel discussion on the occasion which brought together leading artists and architects such as Murali Cheeroth, Maadhushita CA, Reny Lijo and Jeremy Smith; the discussion was moderated by Ar. Raj Menon, partner at RGB Architecture Studio. Read more.
